Corporate Sponsorships
CGC is a proud sponsor of the MasterCard Memorial Cup
2011.
CGC is proud to be a sponsor of the MasterCard Memorial Cup
2011. We're very excited about this extension of our partnership
through the CHL. It allows CGC to extend our community support on a
National level and helps to reinforce the CGC brand in multiple
communities across Canada. The Canadian Hockey League is the
world's largest development hockey league with 60 teams in nine
Canadian provinces and five American states. The CHL is made up of
the Ontario Hockey League, Quebec Major Junior Hockey League and
Western Hockey League. Last season, more than nine million fans
attended CHL games in the regular season, playoffs and at the
MasterCard Memorial Cup. The CHL supplies more players to the
National Hockey League than any other league.
CGC has promoted active lifestyles for over 100 years through
grass roots sponsorships of active community projects. We continue
to support our local communities and ensure that we actively
support projects that are valued and initiated by the local
communities and guided by their priorities, in order to create
long-term sustainable benefits.
The MasterCard Memorial Cup games begin May 19th though to May
29th. For more information on this playoff series please visit http://www.mastercardmemorialcup.com.

James C. MacKay Scholarship Fund
This scholarship was established at George Brown College in
Toronto on April 5, 2005 upon the retirement of Jim MacKay, former
President of CGC Inc. During MacKay's 42-year career at CGC, he was
known for his commitment to success and his advocacy for the
construction industry. The scholarship helps talented students
enrolled in the Centre for Advanced Building Technologies (CABT)
who require financial assistance to reach their academic and skill
development goals.
