At CGC we are proud to be leaders within our industry and now
the inventors of the NEW Lightweight Products Category. For more
than 100 years CGC has brought new and exciting innovations to the
building materials industry and is continuously raising the bar on
advancement within the category.
CGC is the first in Canada to introduce a Lightweight Products
Category to their customers. Durock® Next Gen was the
first product we re-engineered to be the lightest cement board on
the market. And we followed with the introduction of
Sheetrock® UltraLight Gypsum Panels and CGC UltraLight
Drywall Compound products. These are the first of many products CGC
will be offering within this Lightweight Products Category. The
Lightweight products have all the same great benefits; however, are
up to 30 percent lighter than their standard product. The
lightweight design enables quicker and easier installation,
reducing strain and fatigue for the homeowner or contractor.

| SHEETROCK® UltraLight Interior Ceiling Board
SHEETROCK® UltraLight Interior Ceiling Board gypsum
panels are designed to meet the need for a ceiling board that
offers excellent sag-resistance, even when wet-textured. These
superior-grade panels are only 12.7 mm (1/2") thick, but offer
significantly improved resistance to sag when compared to 15.9 mm
(5/8") Type X gypsum panels.

| SHEETROCK UltraLight 5/8" Firecode 30 Gypsum Panels
SHEETROCK® UltraLight FIRECODE® 30 Panels have been formulated
to achieve comparable strength and performance characteristics of
standard 5/8" SHEETROCK® FIRECODE® Core panels at a significantly
reduced weight.

| SHEETROCK® Ultralight Gypsum Panels
SHEETROCK® UltraLight Gypsum Panels are re-engineered,
lightweight gypsum panels with a patented, composite design. The
non-combustible core is encased in 100% recycled face and back
papers. The natural finish face paper is folded around the long
edges to reinforce and protect the core and the ends are cut square
and even.
