Q.  Can these panels be installed on the metal framing?

A. Yes, they can be installed on minimum 20 gage framing as well as 2 by 4 wood framing.

Q. Are any of these panels suitable for exterior installation?

A. Sheetrock Mold Tough and Fiberock Interior Panels are designed for interior use only and should not be used in exterior applications.

Q.  Do Sheetrock Mold Tough panels score and snap similar to regular wallboard?

A.  Yes, the panels scores and snaps similar to regular wallboard. If Mold Tough VHI is used, the backside will need to be scored as well.
