A Curated Experience from Start to Finish

From the moment guests arrived at the Omni King Edward Hotel, every detail was thoughtfully planned. Shared meals, inspiring conversations, and curated tours created space for connection and discovery. After settling in evening one, on day two the group explored innovation at CIBC Square in a guided tour. As they toured the space, guests explored how thoughtful design and integrated technology shape the user experience in high-performance environments. One standout feature was the use of CGC’s locally manufactured Celebration™ Snap-In Metal Panels in high-traffic areas. These sleek, durable panels not only contribute to the building’s clean, modern aesthetic but also deliver acoustic performance where it matters most—demonstrating how material choice supports both form and function.
The tour continued with lunch at Joni Restaurant at the Park Hyatt, one of the beautifully designed dining stops on the itinerary. There, the group experienced the anchoring quiet confidence of the bold navy-blue CGC Ensemble™ Acoustical Drywall Ceiling. The ceiling’s seamless integration into the design narrative highlighted how acoustics can enhance ambiance without compromising visual impact.
At both CIBC Square and Joni, CGC Ensemble™ played a key role in shaping the acoustic and visual experience and showcasing how performance-driven materials can elevate the everyday experience of a space.

"CGC had put an amazing amount of attention and thought into all the arrangements, and everything went so smoothly. Food, company, concert were all excellent."

Doug Villeneuve
The day concluded at Massey Hall for a live performance, an unforgettable way to experience the power of true acoustical design. Opened in 1894, Massey Hall is one of Canada’s most iconic music venues. A recent revitalization preserved its historic character while enhancing the listening experience through thoughtful architectural upgrades.

Celebrating Canadian Manufacturing

The final day brought guests to the CGC Oakville Plant, where they saw firsthand how Canadian-made materials are engineered to support performance, aesthetics, and experience in the spaces where Canadians live, work, and gather. From metal acoustic ceiling panels to the Donn® Brand ceiling grid systems, the tour offered a rare look at the precision and care behind the products that support architectural vision across the country. Guests also had the opportunity to meet members of our plant team, including Jay McBurney, Plant Manager; Hubert Wat, Specialty, Supply Chain and Engineering Manager; and Cory Edmonds, Roll Form & Maintenance Manager, who shared insights into the craftsmanship and innovation behind CGC’s manufacturing process.

"It has been a real honor to see what you all do at CGC. It gave me a fresh overview of the professionalism and effort you put into every item."

Valeria Manrique Llancari

More Than a Tour

"A sincere and heartfelt thank you for all you did to put together an excellent experience—building tours, the factory tour, a great concert, and incredible eats! It was great to catch up, meet new people, and I truly appreciate all you do."
