Diamond® Veneer Basecoat is a veneer basecoat designed for two-coat application over a gypsum base in residential and light-commercial construction.
Overview
An economical and supremely workable two-coat plaster with a high-production rate and superior coverage in residential and light-commercial applications. Diamond® Veneer Basecoat produces a monolithic base with regulated suction for constructing quality walls and ceilings in locations where the superior strength of Imperial® Basecoat Plaster may not be required. The basecoat mixes easily and disperses into a creamy, smooth, lump-free mix for simple, quick application.
Diamond® Veneer Basecoat delivers an exceptional integral bond and is ideally applied to Imperial® Gypsum Base porous concrete block or USG™ Plaster Bonder on the following surfaces: monolithic concrete, Fiberock® Abuse-Resistant Interior Panels, and Durock® Brand Cement Board.
