New High Capacity Structural Grid Engineered for Data Center Demands
USG is excited to announce the latest expansion to its Mission Critical Solutions portfolio: USG CIMA™ Structural Suspension System.Comprised of main tees, cross tees, perimeter tees, intersection brackets, and a series of accessory components that are engineered for repeatable, seamless installation across large-scale data hall footprints. This new structural grid solution builds upon the USG ALTA™ Structural Suspension System with an increased load capacity up to 1,800 lbs.Here’s a closer look at the innovation behind the USG CIMA™ Structural Suspension System:Cross tees: Coped ends enable a stronger connection.3- and 4-way connectors: Quick installation and alignment with a wall across the center of the intersection brackets, allowing for accurate installation and stronger joints.Spring hold down clip: Clips between the track feature on the side of the tee, springing to allow for different tile thicknesses—no fasteners required.
