USG developed several products that meet the abuse characteristics specified by the section 403.2.3.2 of the IBC 2009 for egress corridors in high rise structures. Since both Fiberock® Brand and Sheetrock® Brand Mold Tough® are resistant to mold and mildew they are perfect solutions for use in hospitals, schools, general assembly buildings and industrial facilities.

A. Yes, the can be installed on minimum 20 gage framing as well as 2 by 4 wood framing.Q. Are any of these panels suitable for exterior installation?
