Bringing design intent to life is the ultimate goal at USG Ceilings—no idea is too big or ambitious. So when this Summit Healthcare project within a refurbished office building came to USG, our Ceilings team was prepared with an extensive portfolio of solutions to meet their aesthetic and budgetary needs.
The architect on this project, Gensler, was seeking a continuous wall-to-ceiling solution in a wood finish to accentuate the distinct double-height atrium at entrance of the Clifton, NJ healthcare hub. USG was able to secure a combination of USG Ceilings Plus® Illusions® Formed Metal Panel System & Ceilings Plus® Wallforms™ Formed Wall Panel System as the basis of design to introduce a warm, nurturing atmosphere that welcomes patients to the space.
Focusing on the health and well-being of the facility’s occupants, USG also filtered in additional healthcare ceilings products throughout the hub to enhance the patient experience in addition to Summit Healthcare staff and visiting family members. With hands-on technical support, USG was involved from the onset of the design process to guide stakeholders through the form, functionality, aesthetics, and acoustics of our extensive products to create an all-encompassing solution unique to the needs of a healthcare building
